Mandatory Common Documents (All Schemes)
Regardless of whether you are applying for a Shishu, Kishore, or Tarun loan under PMMY, you must keep the following primary identity and address documents ready:
1. Proof of Identity (KYC)
- Aadhaar Card (linked with mobile for OTP verification).
- PAN Card (mandatory for credit rating verification).
- Voter ID Card, Driving License, or Passport.
2. Proof of Address
- Electricity bill, telephone bill, water bill, or gas bill (not older than 3 months).
- Recent savings account bank statement showing matching address.
- Jan Aadhaar Card (For Rajasthan residents).
3. Proof of Business Constitution & Address
- Udyam MSME Registration Certificate: Obtained for free via udyamregistration.gov.in or SSO Rajasthan login.
- Shop Act Establishment License: Issued by eMitra or local municipal corporation.
- GSTIN Certificate (required if your business turnover exceeds GST exemption limits).
- Partnership deed, LLP agreement, or memorandum/articles of association (for partner/corporate entities).
Category-Specific Documents
Different loan slabs have additional financial document requirements:
1. Shishu Mudra Loan (Up to ₹50,000)
- No audited balance sheets required.
- Quotations of machinery, equipment, or inventory to be purchased.
- Basic details of suppliers from whom goods are to be purchased.
2. Kishore Mudra Loan (₹50,001 to ₹5 Lakhs)
- Last 6 months' bank statements of your business current account (or savings account if proprietary).
- Un-audited balance sheet and income statements of the last 1 year (estimated projections for the next 1 year).
- Sales statement showing turnover achieved in the current financial year up to the date of application.
3. Tarun & Tarun Plus Mudra Loan (Above ₹5 Lakhs up to ₹20 Lakhs)
- Last 12 months' business bank statements.
- Audited balance sheets for the last 2 years (certified by a registered Chartered Accountant).
- Estimated balance sheet and profit & loss statement for the next 1 financial year.
- Income Tax Returns (ITR) of the proprietor/partner/company for the last 2 assessment years.
- Detailed Project Report (DPR) explaining the technical and financial viability of the business.
