Common SSO Registration Issues
One of the most common errors users face while registering a new SSO ID is the prompt stating that their "Jan Aadhaar is already linked to another SSO ID." This happens because a single Jan Aadhaar member profile can only be associated with one SSO account.
How to Resolve the Issue
If you encounter this error, follow these troubleshooting steps:
- Recover Old ID: Use the "Forgot SSO ID" feature on the login page. You can recover your existing ID by entering your Jan Aadhaar number or registered mobile number.
- Merge Accounts: If you intentionally created a second ID (e.g., using Google) and now want to link Jan Aadhaar, you must first deactivate or delink the older ID. This often requires contacting the SSO Helpdesk.
- Contact Helpdesk: If you suspect someone else has used your details, email the official helpdesk at helpdesk.sso@rajasthan.gov.in with your Jan Aadhaar copy and ID proof to request an investigation and delinking.
Prevention
Always note down your SSO ID and password securely upon creation. Avoid creating multiple accounts for different services, as the core principle of SSO is "Single Sign-On" for all state services.
